FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 5 MAY 2015

6th Annual TraX4 Breast Cancer ATV Event Raises $60,000 to Financially Assist those Diagnoised with Breast Cancer

Sequin, Ontario - May 1/2, 2015 - Over 30 guys and gals, with our youngest participant Teagen aged 8, participated in the 6th Annual TraX4 Breast Cancer ATV Event. The weekend event was hosted at Grand Tappattoo Resort in Sequin and was filled loads of sun, awesome trails filled with mud and lots of new memories!

The excitement began on Friday with a Poker Run on the Park to Park trail system. The weather was fantastic as the group started their “hunt” along the trail, with many strategic stops by some riders who did not want to disclose their “bounty” to the other riders. At the end of the day the group returned to the resort for a hearty meal and their final poker hand. Congratulations to John Rowett who had the winning hand for the Poker Run.

The sun was beaming Saturday morning as the group headed to the beautiful Canadian Shield to ride the (exclusive) private trail system offerer by Bear Claw Tours. Riders were challenged by every terrain possible from mud to rocks, steep inclines and the inevitable “water hole”. The sun was shining and our lunch stop happened spontaneously as drainage was needed for an ATV that tried to take on the water hole. The evening was wrapped up with a roast beef dinner (sponsored by Tracker Boats) and the opportunity to bid on some exciting silent auction items. We are excited to announce that we raised $60,000 through participant pledges, corporate sponsorship, silent auction, merchandise and raffle. For the 4th year in a row Mitch Kleinstein raised the highest pledges! Congratulations Mitch for "owning" this spot once again!!!

Over the years we have had a variety of amusing incidents occur throughout the weekend trails. This year we launched the WTF Award designed and sponsored by Max Rolph. The lucky recipient for 2015 was Marcin Tomczyk for enjoying his ride so much that he needed a tow out the forest!

A Special Thank You to the following:

•Grand Tappattoo for hosting our event;
•Park to Park/Peter Searle for being our Friday guide; •Kevin Grice, John Hennig, Adam, Jonathon and Andrew Ryeland from Bear Claw Tours for guiding and winching us out of the mud on our exclusive Pink Ribbon Trails on Saturday;
• Our Corporate Sponsors that support this event: ATV World, Bear Claw Tours, Coleman, Radioworld, Tracker Boats/Bass Pro. • All our corporate and private donors who donated towards the Silent Auction; • Our amazing participants and their donors • Our friends and volunteers that donate their time throughout the year to make this event possible;
